Notice is hereby given that the Purchasing Agent of the Incorporated Village of Freeport, New York will receive sealed proposals for “DISPOSAL OF INORGANIC MATERIALS 2018” until 11:00 A.M. on January 9, 2018 in the Main Conference Room of the Municipal Building, 46 North Ocean Avenue, Freeport, New York, 11520, at which time and place they will be opened publicly and read aloud.
Specifications, proposal and proposed contracts may be obtained by visiting the Village website at www.freeportny.gov or at the Office of the Purchasing Agent, Municipal Building, 1st Floor, 46 North Ocean Avenue, Freeport, New York, 11520, from 9:00 A.M. on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 until 4:00 P.M. Friday, January 5, 2018. There is no fee for a set of contract documents.
The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bid proposals received and subject to these reservations, shall award the contract to the lowest qualified and responsible bidder. Bids which in the opinion of the Board, are unbalanced, shall be rejected.
In submitting a bid, bidders agree not to withdraw their bid within forty‑five (45) days after the date for the opening thereof.
